The Academy caters for the needs of all golfers, regardless of experience and group classes can be arranged for men and women of all levels of expertise. Adult classes can be organised around a scheduled programme or, if preferred, we can schedule an academy around your bespoke group. This latter structure appeals to many beginners. Courses include instruction ranging from the basics of grip, posture, ball position, swing and progresses through to achieving a better strike and maximising on your potential. Karl Herbert PGA – Senior Teaching Professional

Karl’s professional career in golf started in 1991 when he commenced working with John McGuirk in the pro shop in Howth Golf Club. Five years later, as Assistant Pro alongside John, he started teaching full members and juveniles in the club on a weekly basis. In 1999, having qualified as a PGA Professional at the PGA Headquarters at the Belfry in the UK, Karl was promoted to store manager at McGuirk’s Retail Store in Howth before leaving to pursue a full-time coaching career in 2003.

Karl joined The Kinsealy Grange Golf Academy in 2007, recognising the opportunity offered within the exceptional facilities of the Academy, he accepted the position offered with a view to further developing his teaching career.

Karl now regularly coaches golfers of all levels of ability, from junior beginners (4 -5 years of age) to older beginners and intermediate and advanced male and female golfers.

While my clients may not like the idea of a swing change, if I can make that change simple to understand in application and result and they see an instant improvement, they will trust the coach and that trust will endure.”

Eoin Gibbons – PGA

Eoin Gibbons joined the coaching staff at Kinsealy Grange in April 2017. He has a reputation for building strong and repeatable golf swings and is currently coaching a number of inter-provincial players, college graduates, elite amateurs, junior champions and professionals.

Eoin is currently golf coach ambassador for clubs to hire and has over 15 years’ experience in golf coaching. In this time he has trained and studied under some influential professionals and with this experience he has gained a vast amount of expertise which he employs in coaching his client base, bringing development and improvement to golfers of all levels, from the raw beginner to the elite professional.

Eoin is available Monday to Thursday from 10 am to 9 pm.

Eoin Arthurs PGA – Resident Professional

After an exemplary amateur golf career which saw him represent Ireland on the international scene at boys and senior level and win, amongst other tournaments, the East of Ireland in 2008, Eoin turned professional in 2016 while playing off a handicap of +3. Since turning professional, Eoin has quickly established himself as an effective coach, building a client base which benefits from his training and natural ability to make their golf more enjoyable and effective.

Eoin provides golf coaching to golfers of all levels of ability and is establishing himself as a popular and proficient coach to younger player and novices. Our Junior Golf Academies are specifically designed to maximise on the fun element while recognising natural ability and enthusiasm when learning about golf and learning how to golf. While our Junior Camps are seasonal, we offer individual or group lessons all year around, working at an appropriate pace to improve technical ability and increase enjoyment of and interest in, the game. PITCHING GREEN OPENED APRIL 2019

Our newly installed pitching green is ready for use and will be open at The Kinsealy Grange Golf Centre as the weather permits! Hone your skills around the green & watch the ball roll out to the hole or spin to a stop on our top of the range,  Royal Grass, synthetic green.

Installed to the highest standards by Royal Putting Greens, our dedicated short game practice area can help add the finishing touches to that all round practice session with pitching to a number of target holes from a variety of distances.
