Karl’s professional career in golf started in 1991 when he commenced working with John McGuirk in the pro shop in Howth Golf Club. Five years later, as Assistant Pro alongside John, he started teaching full members and juveniles in the club on a weekly basis. In 1999, having qualified as a PGA Professional at the PGA Headquarters at the Belfry in the UK, Karl was promoted to store manager at McGuirk’s Retail Store in Howth before leaving to pursue a full-time coaching career in 2003.
Karl joined The Kinsealy Grange Golf Academy in 2007, recognising the opportunity offered within the exceptional facilities of the Academy, he accepted the position offered with a view to further developing his teaching career.
Karl now regularly coaches golfers of all levels of ability, from junior beginners (4 -5 years of age) to older beginners and intermediate and advanced male and female golfers.
